A word of warning to those of you, like me, who have found there are cheaper ticket suppliers out there than Attraction Tickets Direct.
I asked for confirmation of a price match using the 20% Deposit scheme. Got a reply saying "Yes, we'll match" and to ring the company direct
However, when I rang and completed the booking process I was asked for payment in full !!!!!
"I want to pay the deposit only" said I, given that we don't actually go to Orlando for another 10 months
"Sorry, we can't price match then" came the reply
Apparently the official line is that the Price Promise only applies to payment in full and is of no benefit to those of us who want to spread the cost.
I could have paid in full, but my point is why should they have the interest on the extra 80% for all that time, or where would I store the tickets to protect them against loss.
The manager explained that the company feel the dollar will stregthen against the pound this year so their costs will go up, so they are obviously not prepared to take a chance on further price increases they may incur in the interim.
I'm now looking elsewhere - any ideas !!!
