Jeans, clothes in general, over the counter medicines (we stock up on hydrocortisone etc), sunglasses can be cheap, but not the tourist shops, as soon as you open you mouth they stop negotiating when they hear the English accent. Some purfumes and after shave stuff (US stuff), some food stuffs, we bring back maple syrup.

Just a warning, if you like chocoalte avoid Hersey's it is truely disgusting, also the Cadbury's you buy over there is made under licence and it is not as good as UK chocolate.

OO I hate Hershey's it tastes very chemically! Clothes are brilliant- go to malls etc. And I pledge you to buya pair of nikies over there. Perhaps they're better made but I bought a pair of Nike airs in 2001 and they are still in excellent condition now!

cosmetics such as Clinique and Estee Lauder are far cheaper than here. Also I always buy a bag (or 3) in Macy's or JC penney - lovely selection.

My sister says the diamond jewellery is a lot better value than here, and the diamnonds tend to be better quality. I don't know about this, I only buy "costume" jewelley, of which there is also a good selection in Macy's/JCP.

The Bose Outlet sells Bose Noise reduction headphones for the equivalent of £175 - they are £275 here. They are brilliant for the plane!

We save a packet on sportswear stuff especially trainers and f/boots for DS and stock up on t/shirts etc. DH always gets Timberland stuff. Usually find best deals at premium outlets and the Belz.
