I understand that Goodings is a 24hour supermarket, can anyone tell me if I can buy newspapers here and more importantly do they have a good selection of beers;)

Hi Tracy...I can't remember seeing newspapers...just magazines....but I could be wrong...they have a good sized alcohol section though....Walgreens is just a walk up the road...they do sell newspapers

They sell newspapers and magazines - the cigarette counter at the front of the store has a good supply of UK newspapers etc.

They have a reasonable selection of beers - imported and domestic - but I've always found Goodings to be a little bit pricey compared to Walmart etc.

Would agree with that. Beer selection is good but Walmart is cheaper. Goodings is great for when you first arrive though and you're tired or when you are on the way back to hotel at night and you just want to pop in and get something. They do great fresh baked cookies!!

Goodings is one of the pricier supermarkets. They do have newspapers and beer. There is a Walgreens and a Winn-Dixie further up SR535 too.

That Goodings is pricey, I used to go to another (now closed) that was significantly cheaper
