Electric Light Pageant at Polynesian

I have always missed this on my previous visits and heard that it can be seen from the beach of the Polynesian Hotel - has anyone been to the hotel just to see it, I was wondering if I could just park in the hotel carpark and walk through to the beach to watch it!

Yes you can do this. You will still need to pass through the security gate, but as long as you have ID (driving licence or passport etc) they'll give you a car park pass. The Electric Water Pageant usually starts at about 9pm (ish) - it doesn't last long, but you'll also be able to have a look around the Hotel and perhaps have something to eat too.

You don't have to be staying on Disney Property to visit the Hotel Resorts.

We have an ADR at O'Hana at 7pm whilst we are there and Wishes is sheduled for 9pm on that night, We are hoping to watch Wishes from the Poly beach, but where is this is relation to O'Hana, is it close by and do you think we will have enough time to get there if we are seated at 7pm. (It's just me and DBF).

Also is the Electrical Water Pageant on before or just after Wishes or does it depend?

The beach is not far, it is down the stairs (Ohana is on the first floor) and then a few mins walk.

Although the pageant generally follows the schedule below, check with the Guest Services Desk at your Magic Kingdom Resort for times during your stay. Inclement weather can cause cancellation of the pageant.

Polynesian Resort -- 9 p.m.
Grand Floridian -- 9:15 p.m.
Wilderness Lodge -- 9:35 p.m.
Fort Wilderness -- 9:45 p.m.
Contemporary Resort -- 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom -- 10:20 p.m. (only during extended MK park
hours)

Note that when the Magic Kingdom Fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the Electrical Water Pageant runs about 7-20 minutes later.
