We loooove chinese and would love to go to a chinese buffet style so we can try everything and anything......:tounge:
Which is/ are the best in Orlando...??

this is a tricky one, everyone has different experiences with chinese food. We have twice been back to Bill Wongs on I drive, and intend returning in a couple weeks time (see countdown). The choice is good and the kids will even eat it!!! However I too would be interested in trying another buffet somewhere else.

We always go to the one on 192 west. It is right in the grounds on the Howard Johnson Maingate West. It is a Buffet and i think it is $10.99 for all you can eat and i can tell you there is everything from sushi to coconut macaroons - from roast been to sweet and sour anything you like. Well worth money.
yummy yummy:tounge: :tounge:

We tried the "La China Super Buffet" near the mercado shopping centre on I-drive. This was buffet with soooo many dishes, really good quality food and good atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend this one.

Sorry but I would give this one a BIG body swerve. We went there in 2004 as it was recommended in A Brits Guide but under a different name. We went and found it and as I said it was now called La China. Food was OK but DS was onto desserts long before DH & I and he took a plate of profiteroles and I noticed a little white dot in the centre of one - on closer inspection discovered it was mould - you could see green fur on it:omg: I went and checked the buffet and out of a tray of about 60 profiteroles at least half had mould on them. I discreetly pointed it out to the waiter who denied there was anything wrong with it but he eventyually conceeded I was right however we were charged full price and they didn't take the profiteroles off the buffet. :mad2: I think this was the only time in Orlando we never left a tip.

We went to this one in December 2005, it looked as though it had been recently refurbished on the inside , I guess they may have improved since you had that the bad experience as the food and the desserts were really good. Although I didnt spot any profiteroles, just as well!!

Lol! We didn't chance it on our last trip. We did spend a worrying night thinking we were going to have food poisoning and miss precious days of out holiday but thankfully we didn't - we must have a cast iron stomaches!

dont do the one on the 192 opposite la quinta lakeside and wallgreens we had the worst meal of our holiday there!!!
Golden China is a great buffet, its just past the formosa gardens shops on the 192-plenty for kids too.
Another vote for Ace Chinese on the 192 - we visit at least once every trip. It's at the top of my DF's list every trip and he isn't even that fond of Chinese!! Something to do with the fish options on offer I think.
