View Full Version : Wedding Anniversary Meal
Hi all,
It is our 5th Wedding Anniversary whilst we are in Orlando. Has anyone got a suggestion for a restaurant? We are going with both children (3 and 18months), so it needs to be child friendly.
Thanks
Matt

What sort of food do you like? Disney restaurants are generally child friendly and do kids menus so pick whatever one takes your fancy.
Maybe one at Epcot would be nice as there are plenty to choose from and you could finish your evening with Illuminations afterwards.

a resturaunt in Disney would be really nice or a character meal,or if you want something off site my kids have always loved Jungle Jims at crossroads and the menu is excellent for adults as well:cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

Hi don't know if a kids club is an option for u as well, although not sure of min age with your youngest:)
O'Hana's at the Polynesian is a great family restaurant with games etc for the kids and a lovely luau feel. The food is fab too, especially the pineapple with warm caramel sauce Mmmmmmmm........... Not the most romantic place in the world although you can watch wishes from the restaurant (they dim the lights for a better view) or can go out onto the Poly's beach and watch them across the lake, which is more romantic.
If Kids clubs are an option and you have had a recent major lottery win then it definately has to be Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian, with the kids in the Mouseketeers Club. Fantastic and the most romantic place in Disney.

Thanks, though unfortunately, any lottery win (I wish) would be used to pay for the holiday!:) I'll check with the other half to see which she'd prefer.
The disney kids clubs only accept 4-12 years old so you would have a problem here.
If you want a character meal then try Crystal Palace in the magic kingdom as this has Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore.
The only down side is it can get busy and will be noisy but the buffet is good and is very enjoyable for all. We have been several times in the past.
If you want something quieter then try Artist Point in WL.
We went last year with my DW and DD aged 7. There were several families with young children around the same age as yours and the waiters really fussed over the kids giving them crayons and paper to draw on and the drawings were put on an Artist board for all to see and the kids get a certificate for their effort.
One of the desserts for kids is a white chocolate puzzle with " paints" which kids can colour and then eat.
