Just booked 2 nights at RPR for our next trip. We're going for the weekend 0f 08-10 April. As our villa is a bit further out at Westbury this year and we haven't yet done Universal we thought we'd give it a go and stay onsite and save on the driving back and forth. Got the room for £140 per night from BA Holidays - cheapest I could find!
Any comments or tips on the hotel would be welcome.

They provide a water taxi to and from the parks, to be honest it's just as quick to walk.

Its a lovely resort - we will be there in 3 weeks.
FOTL is a fantastic perk.

It's a beautiful resort and the FOTL passes are invaluable.

Lovely resort and I would also agree Tchoup Tchoup is great! The pother onsite resturant is also good and so is room service!
We've booked 4 nights in November! Really looking forward to it as it was a spur of the moment decision!

Hi the orchid lounge is a great place to grab a coffee and pastry for a quick breakfast, u get free coffee refills till 12 at weekend and 11am monday-friday, also make sure u enjoy the pool with fotl access u can ride in morning chill out afternoon and return late afternoon to parks, Tchoup Tchoup is excellent, the bula grill at the pool add the tip automatically even if u don't have it delivered to your person, but u can get a drink or that from Jakes and take to pool, only downside at RPR pool was no icecream although hopefully thats changed, make sure u have joined loews rewards progam as depending on who checks u in u may get a welcome gift, :)

Thanks everyone - yes I have joined Loews First - you know anything free! I blame ClareH for this as she mentioned the coconut muffins! It was a bit of a spur of the moment thing for us too as we're at the Poly for 3 nights at the startof the trip. DH couldn't believe I'd booked somewhere else as well - something about "you're pushing the boat out?". Bit of a new hip celebration trip though in honour of me being able to get round the parks without a wheelchair and whimpering in pain! Your comments have confirmed I've done the right thing!! I'm back to work on Monday so that should put a stop to me booking more extra treats!
