Annual Pass - another question

I've decided to definitely go for the Annual Pass (the normal one, not the premium as I won't be making use of the water parks). I can't get onto the Disney website to doublecheck a the moment so wondered if anyone can help.

With the Annual Pass can you still park hop, i.e. go to more than one park on one park? Also, how do you actually go about getting one? Can you go online?

Secondly, I'm going to also go for the DDE, can I get this at the same time as ordering my Annual Pass?

I have the AP, (not the PAP), yes you can park hope :)

If you want to use it to get the hotel discounts when you order it, if it is before you go, make sure you get them to send you a voucher out, as the e-mail voucher sent with the 'call for' optiosn does not give the righttype of code to get access tothe passholders web site.

YOu cannot get the DDE until the AP is active. If you call DDE when you have acxtivated the pass, they will take payment on the phone and then you can pick up a temp card at the guest services window at Epcot usually after 5 the same day. They will send out a permanant card, but this will tae a few weeks to arrive and it usually givves yuou an extra month membership.

You can park hop as much as you like with an AP. Your AP gets you a discount off the gate price of a waterpark ticket if you did want to visit them.

I don't think you can order your DDE at the same time as your AP as you will need the numbers from the AP voucher when you order. I believe the DDE cards are issued from a different office. They are open 8am-5pm Mon-Fri ,the number is 001 407 566 5858.

If you can't order online you can order an AP over the phone.

I ordered my DDE against my AP voucher about 3/4 months before we went. remember this is now $60 and additional cards are $25 each

Thanks everyone, I think I'll try getting the DDE before I leave but if not I might ask for concierge's help when I get there.

If you wait until you get there they will issue a temporary authorisation for the DDE discount which you can collect from Guest Relations at Epcot. I'm sure concierge could arrange it for you.

I was also able to order my DDE card using an AP voucher.

Does anyone know if you can use a WDW annual pass at Disneyland California?

I'm guessing not, but as we have a trip to WDW in October then a trip to California in August next year, just thought I would check up on this.

Sorry, I was wrong, when I called with an AP voucher I was told no, it had to be an active AP and not a voucher :( However, got it when we got there and ordered in September and got an expiry date of 31/10, so don't need to get another one for the next visit.

I also managed to get my DDE with an exchange voucher, they just asked for the number off the back of it.
