I think its a shame you are not driving because its cheaper if you were to get to clearwater, last march it was $15 each plus tax. We did the thriller which is similar and that cost $80 for the 4 of us. The price you have been quoted is about the same in orlando, so you may as well book it. Have a great time, I am going again in march and intend to go on the thriller again.

I think we paid $15 per person too back in September last year, but we drove there. It's fab you'll have a great time.

Check Seligo because that is £41 / £28 - adult/ child and includes a free shopping bonanza trip valued at £20. This price includes lunch and transport.

We are thinking of doing it ourselves in July.

It's a huge speedboat trip which you can take from Clearwater, you go out to sea and see lots of wild dolphins swimming at the back of the boat. If you don't see dolphins you get another trip free! It was fab, one of the best things we did on our last trip.

thanks for that I am going for three weeks in June so am looking for "different things to do" to keep the family happy. Would a day trip to the beach do or should I look at staying over?

No a day trip would be fine, it was only about an hour's trip. I would book it as soon as you get there though, you book from the harbour which is right opposit the main car park and tourist information centre. They do trips every hour I think. We spent the rest of the day on the beach.

Thanks for that link. What a great day, will defo do this this year, we were looking at spending a day on the beach so this will be perfect. How far is the marina from the beach, is it walkable or wouldwe need to go back to the car and drive to it?

Whats the parking like around Clearwater, when we stayed in the area we avoided it as it seemed very congested but I fancy a daytrip this year.
