I intend to play one of the Disney course's when I go this year, I was wondering which is the best to play.
Also how can I arrange it so I play and the rest of the family goes to Epcot then meet up with them later, can this be done??

I cannot help you exactly but if you put in a search on here for golf I believe you will get plenty of help on the subject

I've done a search on golf but it doesn't really fully answer my question. Thanks anyway.

Sorry still can't see anything that relates to playing a Disney course then going on to a park ie Epcot
Please post a link if I'm just missing it or being a bit thick.

Sorry for the confusion I should have asked if you were staying at a Disney resort first. If you are one of the links tells you that the resort supply you with a voucher for a taxi(plus tip) from the resort to the course and the same on the way back after your round. If you are not staying there you could just get the guy in the pro shop to order a taxi and pay for it (will not be much) how you know where/when to meet the rest of the family could be a problem unless you agree in advance or have walkie talkies or similar. hope that helps a bit.:confused2

We are staying off site, so I will be driving there, I'm not sure of the relation of the golf courses to the parks, so could I drop them off first then go on to golf then return to the park afterwards, if so what parking issue's would I have?
(we have walkie talkie's and mobiles so that shouldn't be a problem)

the actual car parks are huge (you need a ride on one of the trams to get to the gate) so parking won`t be a problem. The actual location I can`t help at the moment as I am at work. A good map will show you but I think they will not be far away. Book early tee time and you will have no problems. Guy called the mapman on here sells a good map for only a fiver;)

Hi

Disney's Lake Buena Golf Course is the closest to Epcot. Palm and Magnolia Courses are close to Magic Kingdom. Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines Courses (the best by far in my opinion) are a little further away but only a short drive.

Have a look at this Google image http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=28.406610,-81.546106&spn=0.028186,0.036774&t=k&hl=en

Click on "Map", then click and drag your way around the map to see where the courses are in relation to Epcot.

This is a good link for Disney courses http://www.wdwgolf.com. Everything you need to know in there. If you email the site owner, Marc, he is an expert and very helpful.

No problem to drop off family first, play, then meet up later. Done the same myself.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
Hope this helps,
Peter

Cheers thanks for that. I emailed Marc and he said more or less the same as you, very helpful. I think it has to be Osprey course. I hope ProV1's are cheap looks like I might need a few!!

You won't be disappointed with Osprey Ridge. Play it every time I go now. Eagle Pines awesome as well. Quality of Sat Nav in buggies something to behold as well!
