KSC. best day to visit

we are doing kennedy this year.not been for years ,can anybody tell me the quietest days or does it not make any difference?

We went on a Tuesday last October and it was dead! The car park was nearly empty and it sometimes felt like we were the only people there!

DD got to meet and talk to Charlie Wilson who was an astronaut on the shuttle. He did a question and answer session and there were only about 15 people there, so it was brilliant! He was great with the kids and made a real effort with them.

We have been to KSC many times in the past, but this was the first time we had been for years and first since the refit. I think it could get busy with school tours on certain days, but there were none there on the day we visited. I dont think you would have much of a problem on any day to be honest, but arrive early if you want to do all the shows and tours as they take a good while. Dont miss the chance to see actual work being done on the International Space Station.
