disabled beach access

We are going to Sarasota this summer and wonder if anybody can tell me if there are any beaches with access for someone in a wheelchair?:cool2:

Cant remember which one but some of the lifeguard stations seemed to have beach wheelchairs, remember commenting what a good idea at the time - will ask the family if they can remember where.
Dont know how you would go about getting to use them though.
