crescent lakes is lovely and it is actually in poinciana. It has very nice villas indeed - about 10-15 mins from celebration i would say maybe shorter.

Crescent Lakes is miles from anywhere and if you have a choice you should really avoid it. I looked at these homes a few years ago and some were laughingly described as 5 minutes from the 192:d: :d: . They are miles away and you will soon get fed up of travelling down Poinciana Boulevard which is for much of the way only one lane in either direction.
Nice homes but too far from the action.

Sorry got to agree with Mariee. Stayed in crescent lakes about two years ago and I really didn't like the travelling from the location to 192 & visa versa especially at night. The road is not lit up and seems to go on for miles. Personally would not stay there again but on the plus side the villas are lovely.:)

Definitely agree with all comments. Crescent Lakes is a LOVELY community BUT it is just that bit too far out.. We were also told it was just down Poinciana Boulevard . If it was a Universal day then it took us about 3/4hr to get there from the villa we were in.

It was however the best villa we have stayed in - but time is so important when your in Orlando so the less driving to and from parks is crucial to fit everything in..

Stayed there at Christmas and didn't find the travelling too much of a problem. The villa and community were great.

It will take about 20 mins to get to most places on the 192, cut through Indian Point for a short cut to the Wall*Mart. 30-40 Minutes for the top part of I-Drive.

I know time is important to most people but what attractions do you have at home within about 20-30 minutes traveling time. We think nothing of spending 2 hours going to somewhere at home but when on holiday anything more than 5 minutes is a disaster.

Then we go and spend 2 hours waiting in line for a 2 minute ride.

Work that one out !!!!

Stayed there twice lovely place but it is a bit far out with no shops or anything near so you just can't nip out for something, its about 15 to 20 min drive to the 192 which is not to bad, would stay there again but thought we would have a change this time.

I would agree with the comments above about being a bit far out, although the area is nice there were very few amenities around.
