Our daughter has booked the Caribbean Beach Resort. Can anyone give us any recommendations on room locations. Thanks in advance.
We stayed in Aruba 51
It was right next to the bridge. So it only took a few minutes to get over to Old Port Royal.

My sister and her family stayed at CBR last Oct/Nov.
I gave then the info I'd been given here on the Dibb, but they stayed at the resort furthest away from the Customs House. They loved it as it was lovely and quiet, had the beach and hammocks to themselves, and the walk to the dining area didnt bother them at all, n fact I was led to believe it was a fair distance , but she says it was no bother at all.

If you want a room with a good view then standard rooms are to be avoid. Water view rooms are better and look over the pools or lake. We were in Jamaica 42 and had a good view of the lake and were not to far from the food courts.
If you want sun at your back in the evening then bay view rooms 4245 to 4252 in Jamaica or rooms 5253 to 5264 and 5541 to 5548 in Aruba are recommended.
The resort is fairly large so in terms of the noise level in various rooms this can vary. Trinadad South is the quietest area but the furthest from the main pool and the courts. The best compromise is probably Aruba or Jamaica.
Barbados , Martinique and Trinadad north are also reasonable close to the courts but parts can suffer a little from traffic noise or are close to the main courts and pool and can get some noise from them.
Hi we stayed here in April last year and loved it. We were in Jamaica and it was about a 7 minute walk to the food court over the bridge, we didnt find this a problem at all. The only thing we didnt like was when you walk over the bridge at night its very dark as there are little or no lights to light up the path. The bit we enjoyed most about this resort was the fact you could sunbathe on the beach rather than around a pool.

we were in room 1313, it's 5 years ago but for some reason can remember the number! It was a corner room overlooking the pool and lake - very nice view, really handy for a quiet pool, and 2 windows made it light and bright. It was quite a walk to the food court, but I didn't find that a problem as it was a pleasant walk along the lakeside.
