Disney Parades & Fireworks

Somehow, I had got it into my head that there were parades and fireworks every day at Magic Kingdom at least?

I've been looking at the park hours info on their official website & they say that there are no parades or fireworks on any day that we're visiting (May 13th to 27th).

I'm confused !!:confused2

Parades and fireworks are on everyday!!

The only exception is spectromagic which can skip some days.

Wishes time depends on park closing but share a dream parade tends to be 3pm

If you go onto the official site again and press the day you are interested in then the times all come up.I had to ask the same question before.:wave: :wavey:

Yes, I cant remember having to make sure that we went on a day That had fireworks, only spectromagic was the tricky one... I guess even disney doesnt want to run up that big an electric bill everyday!!;)

It's really weird - have been looking at www.disneyworld.disney.go.com which says it's the official site & it still says:

Parades and Fireworks
No Parades or Fireworks Scheduled for Today

for all the dates I'm going.

Is there a better website?

How weird!! I think the calendar is playing up. Give it a week or two and i'm sure it will sort itself out. There will be fireworks and parades no doubt.

There must be something wrong with their system....acording to that calender there are no fireworks or parades at all in March .....:confused2

I too want to know when the parades & fireworks are on at which parks & which dates & when I click on to the link above the page isn't there & on the disney pages it also says no parades/fireworks for our dates (25th May til 15th June).

Is there anywhere else to look?

if the official sites are not showing parades and fireworks then either there is a problem and it will be sorted soon, or more likely Disney are changing the schedules, if they are the other sites are going to be out of date.

Keep checking here ( Park Hours ) for the correct times

I can see what you mean, we are there the same 2 weeks as you and are taking my mom for a holiday she had only dreamt of. All I can say is there had better be parades/fireworks otherwise I'm gonna cry :-(

It is true that they don't have all the parades and fireworks every day at certain times of the year. When we have been (in November) the daytime parade is on every day. Spectromagic is only on a couple of times a week and the fireworks perhaps 4 times a week.

Generally Spectromagic and fireworks are on in the Magic Kingdom busy days so therefore not the days we want to visit the park. This is the one day where a Hopper ticket is useful because we can go somewhere else (AK typically) and then go over to MK for the parade and fireworks in the evening. I'm not sure how the evening Extra Magic Hours program will affect this now though.

Which, in the general opinion of the board, is the best fireworks display? We've seen Fantasmic before but would rather see a different one if time is at a premium. Thanks.
