Hi,
I purchased our universal tickets from Orlando ticket deals and when they arrived this morning, I noticed that the tickets require counter signatures and photo ID for every admission. Does anyone know if this really is the case, as I don't really fancy having to carry my passport around with me (I don't have the new style driving licence). Also having to sign every time we go in to one of the parks will surely delay entering the parks?
I am beginning to wonder whether we have purchased sub standard tickets and perhaps tickets from other agencys aren't like ours.
Any experiences or advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you:wavey:

We have never been asked for ID on our visits but were asked on several occasions to sign our signatures on entry

We have had to sign a few times. They can ask to see your ID at any time, so you are advised to carry some form of photo ID. Also if you are driving, you should always carry your licence with you, it may be worth applying for the new style one as it is a handy form of ID and much easier to carry around than a passport.

You can have a photocopy of your passport for ID as long as it is in black and white - colour is illegal!

In the seven times I've been to Orlando, I've never once seen anyone being asked for photo ID at the entrance. With the amount of people who flow through the gates they are never going to ask for photo ID then have all the arguments when people don't have any. They would be chaos!!!
You may be asked to sign the ticket the first time you enter.

I have been asked to sign several times, and always have ID with me for the first time I use the pass. IOA/US now also have the fingerprint scanners, which never seemed to work for us, and we were always just passed through by the CM. SW and Busch I had to sign.
All the tickets are like this - you did not get substandard tickets.
If your postcode has changed since you got your original driving license, or your name or address, you can get a new photo license for nothing - just the cost of the photo. I like this photo license very handy for ID.
I have never been asked, but what I intend to do this year is take photocopies suggested by debs1505, its the best way.
