Hi Folks

Does anyone know if there know if there is a way to tell how many days are left on old park hopper tickets? I have several that do have days left on them but I don't know how many. I know I can check when I get to Orlando, but it would be a great help to my planning if I could find out from THIS country.

Many thanks

This is the reply I got from Disney when I enquired about this:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Guests with Park Hopper Passes (those with the "scan stripe" on the back) can only check the number
of days remaining by presenting the existing pass to a cast member in person at any Guest Relations
location at the entrance of any Walt Disney World Theme Park. Generally, it is possible to have the
value of unused days on previously purchased admission tickets (which have no printed expiration
date) credited toward the purchase of new multi-day ticket media.

Unused days on admission tickets (which have no expiration date) may be used for admission to our
theme parks on any future visit; however, when children become older than the established "child"
age range, they will require the adult priced admission media to enter our theme parks.

In these circumstances, existing passes may be presented in person at any Guest Relations location,
to have the tickets exchanged for the required media (at no additional charge). As another option,
the remaining value of the tickets may be credited toward the purchase of a new multi-day ticket.
(If you did not select the No Expiration Option on the child's Magic Your Way ticket, it will expire
14 days after first use.)

Sorry

Hi Alison,

Thanks for your response, I guess I can't take a gamble on how many days I have left on the passes so I'll get new passes for everyone and check the old ones when I get there, It will be an excuse to go back..........as if I need one!!:mickeybou

Their response seems to imply that you cannot use the old style tickets directly at the turnstiles, but have to exchange them for the new type tickets beforehand.
