Is it suitable for 8 and 6 yr olds - can they go on together or do they have to be accompanied by an adult?

Great fun - but you have to remember to lift your bum up as you go over the 'rollers' or it can be a bit erm.. uncomfortable :pgig:
smaller kids would prob be ok though!!! *lol*

easygoinggeezer - crush n gusher is a water slide at Typhoon Lagoon.
Its kind of like a small roller coaster/cum water slide thing (erm...not sounding too convincing so far!!!
You sit in a boat type ring thing and jets of water propel you round the tunnels (like a normal type water slide) until you pop out the other end!!!

I loved this ride but did anyone feel as though they were going to 'capsize' when the inflatable thing went around a corner?! I was petrified we were going to fall out! Great ride but lift your bum up!
As said above watch your bum on the rollers =)
Great ride, really unique.

Unless you've got a fat bum like me, then no buttock squeezing is necessary..!!! :erm:  ;)

I went down with my two kiddies, age 6 and 12. I was on the back end next my eldest and little one at the front. As mentioned above, watch your backside but I didn't comfortable with my smallest at the front and once the ride had finished to get out we all turned the boat over and the smallest was trapped underneath, bit of a panic but she was fine. the kids loved it and wanted to go again but I thought I would give my backside a rest.
Oh aye Smiffy. A good point.
My mate and I, combined weight of nearly 38 Stone, came out of the tube, the front hit the water and we flipped over with him landing on my back in a most compromising of pose - and me underwater.
On one other ride though, I think the storm drain, he shot out the tube skimmed accross the water and hit the barrier at the end of the pool.
The lifeguard said "that never happens".
I will be watching out for the kids this year forsure.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I think this is one DH can do with the kids. I won't warn him about the bumps though. lol
We did this last September - went to TL just for it as generally we prefer BB. Loved it and as it was a quiet day (cloudy, only Brits there!:confused2 ) we could just keep doing it, no queues.:thumbs-up
There are three options, you can ride all three singly, but only one of them if you want to do a twosome (think that is Pineapple). They are all slightly different in experience. We voted Banana the best, Coconut second and Pineapple least fave.:D

Great water ride, we loved it, its funny we were walking around a shopping mall and met someone off our flight and was chatting, she casually said if you go on Crush N Gusher make sure you lift your bum right up. ANyway we went down first with the kids with our bums up all the way, wicked ride, then came down my parents, they forgot to lift there bum and boy did it crack my dad on the Cocyx bone, his shorts were completely burned away at that part.
So be careful, i think it could do some serious damage if your not careful. :confused2
