Hi,

I just purhased these tickets recently:

http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/attraction-ticket-prices/5-7-day-magic-your-way-premium-tickets.htm (7day)

anyway i was reading on the disney site:

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/extraMagicHour?id=CalendarExtraMagicHoursPage

now correct me if i am wrong but on attraction tickets direct it says i have magic your way tickets so therefore according to the disney site i can visit the parks at the specified extra hours openings ??

You input would be great!

Apologies as this has probably been asked several times but due to the tickets changing regularly i would like to be sure...

Thanks

It does say 'Resort Guest' I'm afraid

Extra Magic Hours

Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so Disney Resort Guests* can enjoy easy access to select attractions — even the most popular ones! With Extra Magic Hours, you can make the most of your vacation time and see and do everything at an easy, relaxed pace.

If you want to take advantage of this benefit and have a Magic Your Way Base Ticket, your Theme Park selection must be the Park offering the Extra Magic Hours benefit that day. Remember, you can only visit one Theme Park per day with the Magic Your Way Base Ticket. To get the most out of the Extra Magic Hours benefit, just add the Park Hopper® Option to your ticket. Then you can go from Theme Park to Theme Park on the same day, including whichever Park has Extra Magic Hours.

To take advantage of Extra Magic Hours at the Water Parks, you must have a Resort I.D.

* In addition to being a Disney Resort Guest, a valid Theme park ticket is required.

You do need to be staying at a WDW resort to use EMH, I think what the bit about ticket means is that the regular multi-day tickets also cover entry for EMH for resort guests, as previously resort guests needed a separate ticket for e-ride nights which the EMH has replaced.

Yes. You must be staying at a WDW hotel to get the EMH .

For the night hours the CMs give out wrist bands to guests who want to stay but to get one you have to show your room pass.

I am not sure but this seems a mixed blessing. An advantage is that you can get into a park early in the morning - or of course stay later at night. But it seems that the EMH park is likely to be the busiest. One reason is Those with one-park-a day type passes go to the park with the EMH.

The morning EMH park does tend to be the busiest park that day by around lunchtime. But, big but, relatively few people are actually in that park at opening time and up until around 11am or so you will find much smaller crowds than found going to that park after 11am on any day. The extra hour lets you get to all the headliners and, whilst the latecomers attack these from 9am, you can then move on to the still relatively empty second string attractions.

But it is madness to try and stay in that park after about 11am. (Epcot WS excepted.)

A similar situation happens with evening EMH. The park open late in the evening seems to be very busy around two hours before normal closing time for an hour or so after normal closing. But the last couple of hours of the EMH are pretty good for crowds.

The other advantage for evening EMH is that the FastPass system gets reset. So rides like Soarin that run out of passes for the day very early on give a second bite of the cherry. Some tactical FastPassing in that first hour gets you on the headliners again, and you can then go out and enjoy some of the other stuff.

EMHs rock!
