Me again!

I have always stayed on Idrive never been to kissimie and LBV.

Is there alot to do in Kissimie and LBV ie, for food and shopping wise without having to keep getting in the car.

If so what hotels do we recommend?

Looking onsite to what do you think?

Hi tracy, we only stayed I drive & onsite, but I asked a similar question a while ago. General opinion was those areas are not like I drive , where you can stroll up & down, there are shops / restaurants at the crossroads if your hotel is not too far away, but we decided to stick to I drive & onsite, the hotel I considered was the resort parkway, has had some good reviews on dibb is fairly close to WDW, & apparently there are one or two shops/ restaurants you can walk to. sure someone else will be of more help :)

We stayed at LBV for the first time last year and unless we are staying on site, I would never now stay anywhere else. Five minutes from DTD, good selection of restaurants locally and perfect for car transport/access to ALL the parks and the I4.
We stayed ay Cypress Pointe Grand Villas which are apartments (1/2/3 bedroom) better for us than a villa, as there are only two of us. But much more comfortable than a hotel room - separate lounge and kitchen area etc.

We've stayed twice at the Comfort Inn in LBV which is a great value hotel, nothing fancy, but well located within walking distance of plenty of good restaurants and only around a mile from Downtown Disney. I wouldn't hesitste to stay there again. We really like the LBV area, but have been caught by the onsite bug now!

It's very much a personal choice. We like to sstay on a villa in the Formosa Gardens area off Hwy 192 - convenient for shops, restaurants and Disney if you don't mind a 5-minute drive in the car.
