I thought I had it all sussed what we were doing as regards having a character breakfast. Never bothered with them before but as the girls are 4,6 and 8 thought everyone would get something out of it now. Also if we left it another year eldest might have been too old!!!
Anyway after loads of deliberation finally plumped for the disney princess one at Epcot. Mind you I didn't ask them I just thought that would be best.
Now eldest says she doesn't want to do it she would rather do one with more traditional characters. She also informs us that despite having been 4 times she has never seen Mickey Mouse. Had the photos done with Minnie but not Mickey.
What bad parents we are that 2 of our children having been to disney so many times have NEVER seen Mickey!
Last time youngest got her photo taken with Minnie cos she was too little to go on Goofys barnstormer so while the others did this she did the Mickey thing!!
They are real ride and coaster fans and have never bothered much with the characters so this time I am buying an album and WE WILL queue for autographs and pictures of everyone we see.
SO it is back to the drawing board as regards breakfast!!

What about Donald's Breakfastosaurous in AK, Mickey is there. Or Chef Mickey's for breakfast or dinner. Or you could do lunch at the Garden Grill in Epcot, Mickey is there. We are doing all 3 plus more :pgig:

Chef Mickey's is great! Mickey and Minnie are there as well as Goofy and Chip 'n' Dale.

Donald Duck is at Chef Mickey's as well as the others at Dinner, he is DS2's favourite.

I have had a look at allears and I think we might go for the Stitch one at the Polynesian. They all like Stitch and Mickey is there so perhaps everyone will be happy . Can I get to the Poly via the monorail if we park at Magic Kingdom. I don't want to have to park there then get back in the car.

Personally I would stick with the Princess ressie (though if cost is not an issue or you are likely to buy the photo package..then I think CRT still has the edge) - albeit for the sake of your younger ones, ........who I'm sure would love it.

You could then queue up to meet Mickey in the barn at Toon Town (in MK) if meeting the mouse is a must !

Weve done chef Mickey at Breakfast and Dinner time, our DD was around 7 first time, we had my mum and dad with us and they loved it too,

I had a look at the CRT but to be honest I wouldn't mind spending the money on it if I thought they would eat but having seen the menu I doubt that. I know it is more about the interaction than the food but I grudge the money for them to have nothing but milk!!
Wish we had done it last time but it always seemed such a hassle having to book and be there really early with little ones who were cranky at being wakened early and who would have wanted to eat before getting in the car.!
Also considering the breakfast at Universal as the littlest one loves Spiderman although there seems a few mixed reviews about that one as well!

Last time we did a character breakfast was at Chef Mickey's - we had 6 kids with us aged, 12, 11, 10, 7, 6 and 4 and it was brilliant for the kids. As well as Mickey, Chip n' Dale and Donald, Goofy stands by the buffet so all the kids can go up to him and have their photo taken and get autographs. The characters take time to come to all tables and send some time with the kids, and the food is very good.
