Can anyone let me know what time the bars and clubs close at Downtown Disney?

opening hours are stated 7pm til 2pm according to the website

can you still get on the island for free and watch the video screens and get a drink from one of the stalls without paying for a ticket to go in the clubs.

Yes you can, or could do last June anyway. We had a couple of nights down there.

Yeah, entry to pleasure island itself is free. You only have to pay an entrance fee for the clubs.

Things must have changed since we last went. Rules then were free entry until a certain time (say 7pm) and thereafter you had to buy an entry wrist band otherwise you could not "cut through" to the Marketplace. Entry to the clubs was by wristband after a certain time of the evening.

This is probably a really silly question (sorry!) but can you get into Downtown Disney without a Disney ticket? We are flying with Virgin and can check in our luggage on the day we go home somewhere in Downtown Disney.

After 7 p.m., you must be 18 years or older to enter Pleasure Island, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. In order to enter Mannequins Dance Palace or BET SoundStage Club, you must be 21 or older and provide valid I.D. - I took this from www.disneyworld.com


and I am sure they close at 2am. :wavey:

JUDE - no need for a ticket to Downtown Disney. It is a shopping/eating area. Lovely couple of hours!!

No ticket is required to enter Downtown Disney, only as mentioned above Pleasure Island, or atleast certain parts of Pleasure Island (which is at Downtown Disney)
