Contemporary & Polynesian Facelift

Hi, just reading www.orlandosentinel.com (http://www.orlandosentinel.com) ( I know I'm sad!! ) about Disney spending millions on these two hotels to bring them upto date and that the Contemporary was built in 1971...when Disney first opened... anyway it states that they are marketing the Contemporary as a Convention Hotel as the rate's are $725 PER NIGHT!! wow!!! everything must be Gold Plated!!! thats $10150 Plus tax for a 14 night stay!! think I'll stick to I-Drive....

The contemporary starts frm $245/night but can go as high as $725 in peak season for a concierge room on the 14th floor or the ,main tower building. I think all the hotels have some extremely expensive rooms, but also soom more reasonably prices ones (reasonable being a very subjective quantity)

We are staying there over Christmas when the rates are $725 per night but we are checking in on the last day of value season before they go up and are getting the lowest rates for the whole stay and saving $2,100 :spin:
