Hi Guys
Need some of your fab knowledge here :)
A friend of ours has very kindly said we can have their villa for £500 for 2 wks, i'm assuming this is a fabulous deal?
Anyway, i can't tell where it is. Without emailing her(as she's very busy), there's a signpost outside the window and i wondered if anyone knew where it was?

Have a look at the Dibb (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/villa/map.htm) map page to see the location. It is in a good area very close to the parks. If she is only charging £250 per week I'd snap her hand off :)

Is that price open to the rest of us?

I don't think so. It's because she is a friend of ours.
We always stay in a villa and whilst we`ve never stayed in Lindfields, we`ve heard that it`s a very good area. The price your friend is letting you have the villa for is fantastic and I would grab her offer quick before she changes her mind!! ;-)

We are also going sept 2007 and we have booked our villa already. You shouldn't have a problem getting flights for september as it's off peak season. At the oment you can book fly drives with TCD and Virgin for those dates if you are wanting to get it booked and sorted. Persoanlly I am waiting until scheduled flights come out and i might even wait until after xmas to see if there are any sales.
My personal experience was we went last september and we moved and had to change our flights to gatwick instead of manchester and we had no problems with availability, and up to a couple of weeks before i checked and there was still availability.
I would defginatly book the villa though before she changes her mind on the price.

Do the airlines do offers on flights, i.e free child places, or is that only on package deals?

Have stayed in a villa in Lindfields twice and go back in May for a 3rd!! Nice, quiet area - you really do need a car to get about from here, but the area is nice.
Enjoy! - and yes £500 for 2 weeks is a great deal - lucky you!

Put it this way it would cost you that amount to stay in our villa 4 nights, (although it is a different size) that is a very generous/crazy offer. I would be very grateful to her if I were you!
Good luck with the flight hunting!

Instead of flight only, try to book flydrive, these usually have free child, or cheaper child offers. Then it's up to you whether you want to pick up the car or not.:spin: :spin:

I would have to think very carefully about staying somewhere called Tottenham Way......Now if it was called West Ham walk that would be a different matter.
