View Full Version : Southern Dunes Golf Course
I am really keen to know how the following courses stack up against each other: -
Southern Dunes
Highlands Reserve
Lake Buena Vista (Disney)
Can anyone enlighten me?
Also, does anyone know how I can get discounts on any of these courses?
Many Thanks

Yes i can help you out no problem.
Southern Dunes is a great course and its signature are the sand trap waste areas which border and intersect most holes. It is not your typical florida golf course as it has good elevation changes. The cheapest time of year to play here is may to mid sept and it is $52 a round
Highlands Reserve although it may have a bad reputation, i think it is the most British course you will find in central florida, it is Parkland Type , easy to get to also. I played it twice last year and thoroughly enjoy it. Cost wise it is $37 during the summer months.
lake Buena Vista on disney is a magical golf course a has lots of water hazards and doglegs and was design by PGA tour designer Joe Lee. It is pretty pricey at $85 a pop but it is a pleasure to play here.
If you want anymore info on all Florida courses, go to www.teetimesusa.com . They are a fantastic service , who i thoroughly recommend for guaranteed tee times. They are very reliable also.

I stayed at Southern Dunes last year and I can thoroughly recommend the course. It was in excellent condition and the greens were superb. I played early in the morning as it gets hot out there..:wavey:
