On another thread I was asking about gettting to an ADR at 7.15 at Chef Mickeys on ou first day. Someone said a quote from another site saying it opens at 7am. However a friend at work and another poster on this site said beware that at times the monorail isnt woking till 7.30 ish... My question. Can we valet park at contempory for meal, an then go into MK? As we have the Family Magic tour booked at 9.30, so wont be able to move car. We intend to leave Mk abut 4pm that day.
Any advice please? I dont want to be getting all stressed the first morning. The other option is CP for breakfast, as their earlies adr is 8.05. But we really wanted to eat on the MNSSHP in CP.

Normally if you are visiting a resort you are given a parking passs for 3
hours.Not sure of Valet Parking.

You can park in the Valet parking. Cost is about $7 for 24 hours but the normal parking is 3 hours and they are strict as it is so close to MK.

No problem if you pay for valet, you can leave it all day.

This info is from All-ears
Valet parking is available at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge resorts. The charge is $7.00 per day plus tip. Guests need only pay for valet parking once per day--show the day's valet receipt at the next resort to avoid being charged again.
Disney Vacation Club members may valet park free at the DVC resorts. Those resorts are the Boardwalk, the Beach Club and the Wilderness Lodge. Show your DVC membership card to the valet captain upon vehicle pick-up.
Disney Dining Experience Members may valet park free of charge at any Disney resort offering this service by showing a DDE membership card.
Valet parking is free of charge to all vehicles displaying a disabilties tag at Disney facilities offering valet service.
I knew that DVC members can valet park for free but didn't realise that DDE holders could as well :thumbs-up

Does this mean we could use DDE to park free at MK even if we have no intention of eating at the resort ?

I am guessing that you would have to have an ADR at the resort otherwise it would be inundated with everyone who had a DDE card parking there for the MK

This is great news, have been worrying for a couple of days now about whether I had done the right thing with a 8:10am ADR at Chef Mickey's and getting from the MK carpark round to the Contemporary in time, so this is excellent news - and a first for us - valet parking - mmmmmmmmmm, very posh indeed!!!!!!!!!!!! Not something I am accustomed to and not in demand in Dartford!!!!!!;)
So, I presume I have got this right, that when we go to the Poly in the evening, our valet parking will be valid for there too, plus the tip of course???

Yep - that's the way I read it :thumbs-up

I think to get the valet parking free you have to show your DDE card and the receipt from your meal
