View Full Version : Winter Home advice - where please??

Probably only wishful thinking at the moment, but I would one day like to own a home in Florida to avoid the winter months here.
I do not want to leave these shores forever (tried that once - Australia and came back:confused2 )

Would not want it to be in Orlando - want it to be somewhere I can walk on the beach every morning and preferably the Gulf Coast. Distance from Orlando is not really an issue, as we could come and go, shelling out for the occasional overnighter if required:grin:

Any suggestions please, where would you buy and why?

Great idea - escaping the UK winter. Remember though that you cannot stay longer than 90 days on the VW and only 6 months with a Visa.

Thanks - would need to look into all that, but hopefully it would be a Nov-April kind of thing - I'm in desired occupation so maybe I should try and get there before I retire lol:confused2
