Western Beltway Update

Tomorrow 4th Apr is the opening day for the new Western Beltway or 'Western Way' (SR429) as it is to be imaginatively named. It will meet up with west Buena Vista Drive near Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom.
If you are staying along 192 West Formosa, Lindfields or US27 etc it will cost $0.50 to join it at US192 and another $1.00 to reach Disney.

Interested to know if it will be still quicker to use the back way via Sherbeth & Black Lake roads.

Splash- I think it will be quicker to go sherberth as the new road goes north ofr a few miles before coming south again so I can't see any real gain at the moment .

Does this mean we can use it from the Formosa Gardens area to the I4 South and Tampa? Where does it actually intersect with the 192? The map isn't terribly clear.

Where the 429 western toll road will come in very handy is developments further into Clermont, and as yet undeveloped portions off of the norther part of the 27........
