View Full Version : Surfing
We would like to make one day trip to the coast and DD would love to go surfing.
She has not been before so would also require a lesson.
Can anyone advise where we could go thanks.
Thank you.

Disney do surf classes in Typhoon Lagoon before the park opens. http://www.ronjons.com/surfschool/TyphoonInfo.htm
Thank you for the information.
After looking at both of them we think Cocoa Beach looks like the best option for DD. A private lesson is the same price as at Typhoon Lagoon for ten and the waves do not seem so big:omg:
It will also be a nice day out:grin:

Cocoa Beach is great and if you park in the car parking area near to Ron Jon's you can hire a full size surf board for the day on the beach its self. It cost $14 when we went and my DD loved it. From the same place you can also get beach chairs and umbrellas etc. Lets hope the surf is up when you visit, although at Cocoa there's a good chance it will be.

The good thing about Typhoon Lagoon is it's controlled waves so it's much safer as they can be shut off and you are also guaranteed waves. It's also good for people that are not fan's of the sea and salt water.
