Hi All
Just a quick question, which is the best water park and why??? Blizzard Bach, Typhoon Lagoon or Wet 'N' Wild.

Personally, I like TL - love the big wave pool n the lazy river - not so keen on the slides :happy: :wavey: :happy:

looking at some of the slides for wet n wild i think id suffer a heart attack? are they legal??? :confused2

Wet n' Wild does not have a patch on the Disney WaterParks... you dont get that special Disney service!!
Typhoon Lagoon is brilliant and has a reef where you can snorkel with fish and sharks. But the main pool has huge waves which may not be so good for a little one. Blizzard Beach is also very good and has a big kiddies play area.
Its always good to take water shoes for little ones too!!

The Disney parks are better themed than Wet n Wild, although it has more adrenalin-boosting rides! Of the 2 Dis ones I prefer BB, as it's larger and has more rides, but TL is a more relaxing environment.

We went to TL - my only advice would be if your going on the lazy river make sure you smother the suntan lotion on, we got so burnt that day even with my factor 30!!!!

Never bothered with wet & wild

My fav is TL

But my kids who are teenagers its BB the slides are much better they tell me.

I make my youngest 2 (and me) swim in old t-shirts at water parks to prevent sun burn . also use high factor cream. you don't realise how long you are stood out in the sun.

On lazy river i wear my hat & sunglasses too! a real sight to behold! but better than being ill with the sun.

Also we take pool shoes or flip flops as the floor gets very hot.

Having been to all three I would say that blizzard beach is my favourite, i love the family raft ride. Typhoon lagoon is also lovely. Wet n Wild isn't as nice with the surroundings and theming, but having said that some of the rides are great. Has anyone been on DiscoH2o!!

My favourite day is TL, just a very relaxing day for us.
TL also has a play area for the kids.

Wet n' Wild is a great park too, just it seemed very busy eveytime we've been.
Great slides and the food at WnW I think was a little better than Disney's water parks.

We've only been to wet and wild so can't compare them, but my 15mth old absolutely loved the kids area there which was pretty big. The rides looked a bit terrifying for me but my husband thought they were good.

Typhoon Lagoon is our family favourite but all have something to offer. We always steered clear of W&W until our last trip and we were pleasently suprised and had an enjoyable time there, it isn't Disney and doesnt try to be.

We loved TL.....with it's tropical lush green theming and the water is lovely and warm.
Relaxing and still enough to keep kids buisy.....
We did'nt see our 3 boys all day, but once when they were hungry. Got to wear aqua shoes though, as my DS3 thought he did'nt need them and after a couple of hours in the wave pool realised he had hardly any skin left on the soles of his feet !!!:cry:

We loved both of them but I think BB came out tops with us, but that may be because the day we went there it was very quiet with no lines for the rides, the day we we to TL it was very busy but we still had a great time. Like others have said be sure to slap on sun protection of at least 30 as we all burned very quickly even with the sun protection.

We love both of them. I like BB's slides because you can't feel the joins as you're going down them and the Christmas music piped around the park makes me laugh!:pgig:
I like TL's Shark Reef and can't wait to try the new Crush n' Gusher!:D

Basically they are all good. Each have their own best of's.
I like typhoone lagoon because it is a bit tamer but my ds's prefer blizzard beach with wet n wild running a close second. :cool2:

we have been to all 3 but TL probaly just takes it for overall experience.BB has more a adrenalin rides.It depends on what you are looking for and the ages of your party.Wet n Wild has loads of rides and seems to be a faster pace and more intense.You will have a fantastic time whichever one you go to

I wouldnt go back to Wet n Wild - its not worth a visit IMHO
we went last aug and even though we arrived early (waited half an hour for the gates to open) and we chose a day in the week when the local children were at school - It was packed!
the lines for the slides built up within an hour and there seemed so many people in the water that we left before noon

we did have a great lunch in IHOP across the road from there though:)

for me its TL. can't beat that wave pool and the good old lazy river!!!

the family love Typhoon lagoon and always try to visit 2 or 3 times. Caters for all tastes and set out brilliant. Blizzard beach was alright more thrill seeking slides , to us Blizzard beach didn't have the same laid back atmosphere.:cool2:
Never done Wet'n wild we were going to do it last time but hurricane charley closed it the day we were suppose to be going:cry:

Typhoon is definatly our families favourite as it is much more relaxing than blizzard beach, and I think much prettier.
