What is this ride like, mum does not like roller coaster types ie rides that take you up in the air like fairground rides i have been trying to explain to her that wdw rides are not fairground rides, , although she enjoys water rides. Is this a "fast"ride.

It is an odd one to describe, you are in a row of around 20 people?? in 3 rows in a set and when it begins you are raised up, row 1 going highest then row 2 then row 3 in a way almost like a ferris wheel when it is loading, you do not feel too high up even in row 1 and certainly nothing like a rollercoaster.
this is a sensation attraction, it is the wind in your hair the scent that comes out at certain points it really isn't to be missed. If she is concerned about the height thing then ask for row 3, it's not the best for fooling the senses as you see the row above's feet but might reassure her to try a higher row the next time.

This ride is very tame and would let my mum go on it. In fact there were loads of people my mums age on it.
Funny thing is though when i first got i was worried as to what to do with my flip floppy type sandals then i looked to see what everyone else was doing and nobody else was bothering so i left them on. No problem i didn't loose them because the ride was very tame.
It is worth going on although 1 of my teenagers didn't think much of it the rest of us enjoyed it.:wavey:
