View Full Version : Disneyland Paris
what do you reckon - we're toying with the idea of going on-site for a few nights (no month in particular yet), but I wondered if they have any cheaper last minute deals ever - or do they get so booked up they don't need to make offers ? We could go with just a few day's notice.
Anyone shed some light !
Thanks, #.
I haven't seen many last minute special offers - they sometimes do a 3 nights for the price of 2, or 4 nights for 3 deal - which is what we got, but they are in the brochure, so advertised well in advance.
And I've seen lots of offers for January -but it's very cold and the park hours are greatly reduced, so I don't think I would go then either.
We went in November, and it was very very cold, but other than that we had a brilliant time - the park was extremely quiet and we didn't wait in any queues at all - not sure i would suffer that cold again though.

Thanks Bev - they're doing 4 nights for 3 in the brochure with reductions on Eurostar too - but it's for specific dates only spread over a few days, so I thought that these days would get really packed in the Parks - not ideal.
I couldn't believe the Ferry prices either until I checked on the web - Plymouth to Caen was £346 in August - .
I think Eurostar will be my option now . . . back to the research
cheers,
we found the transportation prices in the brochure were very high - I arranged my own flights, and then used the brochure for the accomodation and park tickets.
but if you are handy for the Eurostar that would be easier than flying.

I've never seen real last minute stuff really...the only place you might find somewhere is www.lastminute.com or even try expedia for packages. However, I know last year when I was looking to go in April (not the holidays) that the budgets hotels DO fill a good few weeks in advance - I think even out of season, they look to fill them with conventions (DLP's main business out of season) so if you can get a good deal early on, I'd take that rather than expect something last minute. Besides, if going Eurostar, the APEX seats are the cheapest, are limited and so sell out pretty quick.

It still amazes me that you can go to Florida cheaper for 2 weeks than to DLP for the same time - France is so expensive.
Not that you would want to go to Paris for 2 weeks.
Still it is a good Disney fix for a few days.
Thanks Penny and Bev - much appreciated for all the info - I'm off surfing to find out a few more bits.
Simon - that's what I thought, but I need to have some Disney Magic and the double glazing's got priority over another Florida trip.

Just an update, I was shocked to ring today (to try and book a two night stay at full price in August) to find 4 nights for 3 (with 5 day passes) was on offer. The website says September dates only. So we are having a trip across from our Normandy holiday!! It was available in all the hotels (certainly DL, Sequoia and Newport Bay (Admirals)) but we went with Davy Crockett Ranch as we will have the car anyway and there are five of us. arrival night was Sunday (there may have been another arrival day as well)
So there are late deals sometimes.
..and we are there on my birthday!!

Ooh Fiona! How Fab - I am desperate to go, and they are starting cheap flights from Newcastle in September, but it's just not going to happen with this baby coming!
Those Davy Crocketts look great, I want a full report when you get back.

If you have a nectar card you can get return travel for 12,000 points or 5000 points plus £30 - worth considering if you're going to book separately
Otherwsie take a look into easyjet or bmibaby and fly for not very much

Steve,
You could always look at this thread (http://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15492) to see if there are any Ryanair deals on.
