MK opening ceremony

Hi there, After seeing the opening ceremony playback at MK just wondered if anyone knew how they choose the family for the ceremony???:)

A guy at work was picked a few years ago (Lucky Git!!) Next time I see him I'll ask, he did tell me the story, however, I was a little tipsy!!

Apparently it's random, you can't buy it or anything... but if you stand close to where the parade starts, that's where they pick the majority of people from 10-15mins before the parade begins. No guarantee or anything, just how I've heard other people have done it!

Hi There Cazaline, I asked that guy from my work about the ceremony today, he basically said get to the front of the queue and make conversation with one of the cast members there! It was lucky for him and his family that the cast member that they started talking to "just so happened" to be from the same part of Scotland!! He said it was the best thing he has ever done at disney, got the photo's and plaque to prove it!
