We went bowling just off i-drive..... had a great laugh, it was more about who managed to hit no skittles rather than who hit the most :pgig:

Something different ( & free) if you are in the vicinity of the Peabody hotel at 11am or 5pm, stop in to see the 'duck march' , twice a day the peabody ducks are marched along a red carpet to/ from their fountain in the foyer to the elevator up to their night time quarters. We are planning to see this in October ( in fact I have promised myself :) ) twice we have stayed near a Peabody hotel , yet we've never managed to catch the duck march ! While you are there, you could pop into the b-line diner for a snack - very yummy :)

Try the Midway

We had a great evening here. Fantastic go-cart track and a massive slingshot.

Wonderworks is great. Loads of things to do inside and you can also play laser tag upstairs and also bowling.

My Kids loved the Hurricane experience. Was unbelievable. Thank god for those poles to grab !

They do a deal at Wonderworks where you get entry, plus dinner and a magic show plus a game of lazer tag for about $40 per adult, $30 per kid

The meal is all you can eat and drink and includes pizza, popcorn, desserts, soft drinks, beer, wine

We stayed there a few years ago and there is plenty to do. Me being a woman liked going over to Pointe Orlando - which has had a face lift since then - to look at the shops. But there are good places to eat - Hooters for one, and there was a cinema which you could do at least one night, a change from watching the tele. Plenty to walk around and see up at the top end over Sand Lake Road aswell . We always have a game of crazy golf on holiday - pirates cove is on I Drive, always good for a laugh for a couple of hours.

Where to start...the location is the best in WDW...you've got a short walk or boat ride to Epcot...boat ride to Disney Studios...just across from the Boardwalk with all that's there. And then there's Stormalong Bay..the best pool at ANY Disney hotel. We didn't get around to eat there but it is very good..you have a choice of loads in the area.
Have a great time...pm me if you need any more info. :wavey: :wavey:

There is the Pirated mini golf which is great, the Point Orlando has a cinema, The Titanic exhibition is also worth while. There is plenty of shops and you always find something to do on I Drive.

Ripleys and Pirates Cove Adventure Golf are the main two that spring to mind. Pirates is our favourite golf place. Have a look here www.piratescove.net/location/5 :-)

ripleys believe it or not is worth a few hours visit my kids liked it. the crazy golf pirates style was good. if you want cheap trainers go to payless shoes there are also some sports shops near wet n wild.
also a go kart place it looked great fun but really noisy a sit was on a wooden track.

You could always do Terror in orlando - although I wouldn't personally recommend it as it scared the pants off me and my DS. Check out my previous thread on this. :omg:
