HI ,OUR SON IS 11 AND HAS AUTISM & EPILEPSY ,ITS OUR 1ST TRIP TO DISNEY THIS YEAR AND WE WANDER IF ANY 1 CAN ADVISE US ON RIDES WITHOUT BIG DROPS OR THAT GO TOO FAST ,OR PERHAPS WARN US OF ONES TO AVOID ,ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH WELCOMED ! X

Have a look at the sticky on accessibility guides at the top of this forum for detailed ride information. As a general guide the height restriction is a good measure of how scary a ride is likely to be.

also, if your son is photosensitive dont worry about asking the cast members if your are unsure about the rides/shows. My friend is photosensitive and it was not rides that affected her but somes of the shows lighting effects!!! Everyone is very happy to help though if you ask for advice> :)

From my personal experience I would say do not go on Everest and one of the bits in Spaceship Earth had a lighting effect which almost triggered Roger but we just put his hat over his eyes during this once we realised he was going. He was OK after that ride though.

There are lots of attractions you can go on, ie Indiana Jones show, Stunt show etc etc might be worthwhilegetting a guidebook or looking on here for info on all the rides / attractions

One I would say to avoid is the Sounds Dangerous in MGM as it goes black ( ie you cant see anything ) and that might upset him
