Hi, we went last year to Race Rock cafe and it is certainly a THEMED !!!!:tounge: restaurant, especially if you are into cars, trucks, bikes, infact anything to do with racing..:omg: even the food was good and service is excellant....it doe's get busy later on in the evening, so either go 4.00 till 6.30 approx or if you go later on, expect to wait a little while, to be seated.:wavey:

We have always enjoyed the food here and its quite reasonable priced.
The boys love the cars..the girls the music.

Race Rock is brilliant. As kev says, get there early because it does get busy. Prices are really good (go for the exploded onion...) and if you have a special day (birthday, etc), then let the staff know and you will get a dessert with chocolate writing around the outside!
Bit disconcerting being sat under what looks like a 4 ton race car (but is actually a fibre glass shell) - but has always been a "must do" when we are there.

Race Rock is our favorite Orlando Restaurant. Food is beautifully cooked and very nicely presented and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
A must if you ask me

We like Race Rock as well. Saying that my sister went to the Nascar Cafe recently and preferred it. The steak was so good she went there again and enjoyed it just as much the 2nd time around. We've not been so we'll be giving it a try in June !

We always go to Race Rock once if not twice - the kids love the rides. Dh - without fail i might add, ALWAYS has the hot rod (huge hotdog) not that he's predictable or anything lol. Me, i always try something different and so far have never been disappointed - like dh the kids a pretty predictable as well lol
Another vote for Race Rock we like this place, food was good, service good, the prices were not bad either. Its worth a visit in my book !! :)

We would definitely recommend Race Rock - food was great (be warned seriously large portions!), staff were friendly and attentive with the children and actually warned us about ordering too much ("are you sure you really want all that food!") - which we found very refreshing!
Place was great - plenty to look at - we all enjoyed it much more than the Hard Rock Cafe and Planet Hollywood:d:

Race Rock is absolutely THE best restaurant in Orlando IMHO. Also tried Nascar Cafe but was a bit disappointed TBH. Theming in both is excellent and the Nascar has 2 race cars hanging over the dining area that rev up every now and then but the food was nothing special in here with small portions (compared to other restaurants in Citywalk anyway, again IMHO).
Race Rock food is superb and plentiful and the variety of theming rather than just Nascar makes for a better evening (or lunch).
Why not try both and make your own mind up.

We always stay on IDrive, across from Race Rock and have never tried it, dont know why because we always say we will? We have been to NASCAR twice and enjoyed it but are definitely going to try Race Rock in Aug when we go back, sounds good.

12 of us booked a HUGE limo and reserved a table at RR.
I emailed them in advance with starter order so as not to waste limo time and they were sitting served within 1 minute of us arriving. So too were the amazing Margeritas the boss promised me on an email and he did not charge me for them.
Food.......Lots of and excellent
Service......Superb
Surroundings.....Awesome.
A tad more expensive than average restuarant but well worth it.

Race Rock is brilliant! My DD loved it and she's wasn't really into all things motorised. I was a convert by the end of the evening as well. The drinks are lovely too! Menu is here (http://www.racerock.com/racerock/themenu.html) if you're interested!
Another thumbs up for Race Rock. It's superb. We too were warned that we may be ordering too much food as the portions are more than generous!!! :omg:

We have eaten at both and personally prefer Nascar cafe at Universal food great and service brilliant, we found the food and service at Race rock terrible and it wasnt even busy.
we think that this is one of the best places to eat (that we have found so far) we will be attending again this year.

Both Racerock & Nascar are fab!!
we ate at both last Oct and had fab meals. DS aged 8 thought they were both 'wicked' and still talks about the fab meals we had there. Theming is also excellent:) :)
Anything for the Formula 1 fan over there? Or is that a question to avoid asking, following last years fiasco at Indianapolis? :)
Thanks to this thread, Race Rock has now been added to the schedule :)

Tried loads of dishes at Race Rock and all have been lovely! Really nice food, well presented and varied. HUGE portions though, so dont be too ambitious with the starters!!
One of our favourite Orlando eateries!
