The Clearwater bit of our holiday

Staying at the Sheraton Sand Key for 4 nights at the end of our holiday - has anyone stayed here? and what are the hotel restaurants like? Also, any nice restaurants/bars in the immediate area?

Stayed there for our honeymoon and it was lovely, but it was 1993 so things could have changed!:grin: The beach etc is lovely, but beware of big birds and their mess:confused2 . Every day they managed to get me or my towel! Hubby thought it was hilarious (until they "got" him too!)

lol - i'll make sure i wear a hat!! I've read some reviews about the hotel on tripadvisor but just wondered if any dibbers had been.

Hi

Our friend got married there two years ago and it was lovely, food for the reception was excellent.

There is a couple of restaurants across the road, a Spanish one which was lovely but quite expensive. You can get the trolly into Clearwater Beach, you can walk but have to walk over a steep bridge to get there.

Lots of restaurants in Clearwater Beach and if you do choose to walk it should only take around 10/15 minutes.
