cheap place to buy a US games console

I'm looking to buy a US games console (I appreciate it won't work over here in the UK! ;) ). I notice Electronics Boutique sell refurbished Xbox's and PS2's for $120 and have also been keeping an eye out on ebay but was wondering whether anyone had any other suggestions. Are they sold at flea markets and will the guy still be there if I find it doesn't work (over in the US obviously :D) ?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks !

Wal mart sell games consoles, as do k-mart, sometimes they are cheaper in there, also check out gamespot, which is a store in the same chain as ebgames :d: they sometimes give away free stuff with purchases... oh and not alllll consoles won't work back here, the nintendo ds will:D

You could also try Toys R Us near the Florida Mall. We bought a PS2 there a few years ago and they were cheaper than anywhere else.

If you buy from Walmart you can return it to Asda here if anything goes wrong.

Bestbuy runs sales every month......last month the PSP was 10% off, as were a ton of items in the electronics section.

Does the "If you buy from Walmart you can return to Asda" apply even if they don't sell the things in the UK ie US standard (ntsc) consoles?

Find it hard to believe Asda Leeds would take things back they don't sell?:erm:

We bought PSP in Walmart and it went wrong rang Asda customer services explained that we bought in Walmart Orlando, thy said just take to local Asda and the would do a swap or refund.
They did say that if store queried or refused tell them to ring head office customer services.
We returned and swapped for a new unit.
