We have plans for ADR's for Princess Story Book and Fantasmic Dinner Package at H & V and also conidering a character meal at Universal Studios - the one in the hotel with scooby doo. We will probaly go the Race Rock and FRC at DTD, but wondered if there are any other themed/fun places to eat? We are 2 adults and DS11, DS8 AND DD7. What would you suggest? We of course want to have some meals in proper grown up places;) We did look at ESPN restaraunt at Disney Boardwalk but not sure about this one? Any comment please:) Oh yeh and Whispering Canyon - what is this really like?

Whispering Canyon is lots of fun :D My kids (15 & 13) also enjoyed Sci-Fi at MGM, Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's and have requested to do them all again next time.

Hi Fiona
I think you have it all covered, we have ADR for the Princess storybook as we did it last year for my Dds birthday.
 It was great all the princesses came out and had plenty of time with you for pics and a chat.
What about Chef Mickey we have booked this too, its at the Contempary Resort.
Whispering Canyon, we booked to it looks like fun for all.
We did Dine with Shamu at Seaworld last year that was different.
There is a Mad Hatters tea party at the Grand Floridian for kids no adults allowed but you and Dh could get 2 houirs to yourselves to lokk around of have some lunch.

50's Prime Time Diner at MGM was a real hoot.
They make you wear bibs and force feed you your greens if you don't eat them all up (the kids get away with it if they can spell their name in beans!).
I got told off for having my elbows on the table and wearing my hat "indoors".
The food was pretty good but the atmosphere is brilliant.
Worth a try IMHO.

I would definately agree with Milly, you must try Prime Time the kids will love to see all the adults getting told off. They did the aeroplane with a fork full of greens to my husband to make him eat. It is brilliant and the food is delicious.
Oh and the milkshakes are great, dont miss out
You do need to book in though, just call by when you get to the park and book.

We had lunch and dinner at ESPN and it was great. Tthey have playstations at the tables, lots of TVs all around showing every kind of sport you can imagine, great food but as far as my DD was concerned the "piece de resistance" were TV screens in the loos. I kid you not - each loo had its own screen so you don't miss a minute of the action - great fun!!
