Hi
i would really appreciate some hints and tips from all dibbers who have stayed at all star Movies.
our holiday is 30/12/04 for 14 nights
we are 2 families and would like to have interconnecting door between rooms
there are 3 children ages boys 5&5 and girl 3.
ideal would be relatively quiet rooms but not miles away from car lot food etc.. but not next door either, was thinking toy story or dalmations.
all help, tips comments (good or bad) appreciated:goofy:

either of the two mentioned are perfect locations, close enough to the food court without having too much traffic passing by and close to parking lots. What I would request though is a courtyard view. If you are allocated a room to the rear of the Buzz Lightyear block you may be disturbed by the noise from the delivery trucks to the food court at 0530 hrs ..... not pleasant.
Enjoy, we love staying at Movies.

We've always found the Mighty Ducks buildins to be a good location. Mighty Ducks has a pool as part of the complex, it can be used by everyone but all the other buildings are closer to the main pool.
Ask for a pool view.
The launderette is part of the small changing rooms at Mighty Ducks to, so handy for washing while swimming.
We also found it was easier just to walk to Music from here and catch the Disney Buses from there.
Saying that I'm sure with kids that age they would love to stay in the Buzz or Woody buildings.
All of the blocks are not to far from the food court, a few hundred yards.

We stayed in the Dalmations block which is near to the main pool and food court but still far enough from he noise. Plus its right near to the big dalmations which is great if your kids like the film.

We found the Dalmations block to be very good. In fact we asked at reception which the receptionist thought was the best and this was the one she thought was the best.....for the following reasons. It is away from any traffic, is close to the main building (for eats), is between the two pools and is close to the laundrette. It certainly was ideal!

I stayed in Dalmations block no. 4 and agree that it was a good spot, it was positioned between the two pools, personally i prefered the mighty ducks pool i found it quieter as the other pool (mickey) seemed to be the favourite for children.

we stayed in fantasia, it was handy for the pool and food court, but not at all noisy they and had connecting rooms there to. we went in august and got a free upgrade to these rooms just by enquiring how much an upgrade to these rooms would be when we arrived.

And ill third it..... for one reason.....you are closer to the Music bus stops which are the second pick up (before Movies), so more chance of getting a seat! Also when coming back late at night, its quicker to walk from Music than Movies!
