I have emailed the Sheraton World requesting adjoining rooms and they have replied that they have "placed you on the first floor in building #7 directly in front of the pool area", I was wondering if anyone has an idea if this is a good location or should I start pleading to be moved elsewhere!!!

No idea really as there are three pools!

All I would say is that the location of the hotel is fab I strongly recommend eating at the Village Inn opposite. Also Seaworld is a 5-10min walk out the back of the hotel.

we stayed at Sheraton World last july, we stayed in block 8, very handy for the pool and bar and restaraunt area, block 7 is even closer, our room was not the best, the blocks are in need of renovation, the tower is much better i have heard, the hotel is in a great location and agree with the previous post about the village inn.

I stayed in Block 8 last May on the first floor (as we know it), overlooking the pool and garden - it was a lovely room and had been refurbished to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again . . .

You might just want to check with them again, as most Americans say that the first floor is equivalent of "our" ground floor - just check ! At least you'll know exactly where you will be.

Location of your room is as the location of the hotel - superb! Dunno about the room itself as some have been refurbished, some have not.

Also, got to echo the others, don't miss the Village Inn!!!

Hi,

Stopped in Block 7 in december and it was ideal. We were on the ground floor directly opposite the entrance to the pools. Also Block 7 is closest to the path leading over to Seaworld.
Rooms were very good for our requirements.
