We have eaten at Red Lobster in 2004 & 2005, when our DS was 12 & 13 respectively.

They seemed very child friendly - children of all ages were in both the restaurants we went to.

Portions are huge. In 2004 our DS ordered some sort of chocolate cake and the look on his face when it came was amazement.

It is also good because although there is a lot of seafood, you can also order steaks, chicken, so even is someone doesn't like seafood, they should find something they like.

Yep, must agree with Foxy, they are very child friendly. There's a link to the menus here (http://www.redlobster.com/discover/default.asp)

I've eaten at the Red Lobster a few times and never had a bad meal. Usually go for the Admirals platter - yummy! :tounge:

We have often taken our kids to Red Lobster - one of Katie's favorite places to eat and very kid-friendly but still a 'grown-up' atmosphere.

You don't need to try them, they are delivered free lol. Must agree that they are fantastic, but if I touch them I cannot eat my meal as they are such big portions:tounge:
Love the Outerbanks Sampler to start with:grin:
Like all/most Florida restaurants, they have activity sheets and crayons for the younger children and are very good towards them.

We love red lobster, the first time we went there the waiter was great and showed us how to crack the snow crab claws. Yummy

We went to the Red Lobster on the 192 last year with our dd aged 2 and we all loved it. The biscuits which come free are fab it's easy to fill up on them! As a first time lobster eater I found the lobster tail was the best thing to order - less picking and easier to eat!

I love red lobster for the buffet, however the lobster itself is ok but can be a bit rubbery sometimes. Unfortunately the lobsters are cooked, then frozen, then shipped. All the red lobsters do is defrost and heat.

The one at Crossroads in LBV is very good, never tried the one on I Drive. Went to the one on the 192 near Kissimmee Old Town last year and very disappointed ( we had been to this one on previous trips and it was very good) but this time, shoddy service, wrong orders delivered and food not presented well (sloppy).

OH GOD YES!!!! I could have happily made a meal of these alone, and they keep on bringing them every time you empty the basket!!!

Only been to the one near the convention centre but this was great. Do it!

We fell in love with Red Lobsters 4 or so years back when we were over for my sisters wedding. Unfortunately we've been very disappointed the last few times so won't rush back even for the free cheesey scones which agree are lovely. Going to try fish bones instead when we're over in June.

You might want to try the Olive Garden (italian) though which is part of the same Red Lobster chain, that we can recommend !

I love the Red Lobster and have been to the one at Crossroads and also the one on IDrive (Universal end). We've had fantastic meals at both locations, but prefer the Crossroads restaurant, just seemed more lively.
