Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney

Really wasnt impressed this time. They appear to have taken loads of stuff off their menu, the food wasnt as nice, we were squeezed in and the waitress was really quite rude.

Anyone else been this year and felt the same?

We went last August and although we loved the theming we werent at all impressed with the food.:(

That was after a two hour wait for a table.:erm:

Won't be going back this time, not with all the wonderful choice of restaurants.

We went last August and loved it, the waiting time is a pain so I was thinking of doing an ADR for it this year, not sure now though, maybe I'll wait until I'm there and see if I can get an ADR then. The service was good with a smile and the food lovely when went, I just loved the whole experience.

last time i was there was oct 05 and it was great.
good food good service and fantastic surroundings.
hope it hasnt gone downhill we are looking forward to it this year.

When we went down there, we were told that ADR's for Rainforest can be made upto 48 hours before you want to dine there..........

Sorry to disappoint but, in my opinion, it's gone downhill a lot. The surroundings (gorilla's etc) are still great, but the food and service is a big letdown compared to 2 years ago when I was last there.

we did the ak one last year and the food wasn't great but to be honest it was the atmosphere we went for and thats why we go back this year (not for the volcano - honest ;)

i ate there in November last year. dbf has the biggest burger on the menu, i had a 'plant sandwich' any one tried these??

I totally agree that it has gone downhill. We have been 4 times to the RF at DTD but this time we will give it a miss. It was pretty poor last time.

Oh dear. We went there last September for the first time ever and thought it was brilliant in all aspects. Was certainly planning to do it again when we go back next year. I may have to keep my eyes peeled on here to see if anyone else comes back saying that it isn't any good now. :o:

I ate at the one at Animal Kingdom last October and really enjoyed the atmosphere, id say the food was average but the waiter made our visit great fun.
