Dixie Stampede Meals

Hi
I am trying to decide whether to get my DD11 an adult ticket. I read somewhere that the kids meals are just chicken nuggets, I don't know if she will be improessed with this; what size of portion is it?
other than that is there any other differece between the adult and the child ticket, I had been thinking of getting the package deal with photos etc do the children get the same on their ticket? :smile:

We went in June 2004 and my DD (who was 8) got the same meal as us - she refused to eat the chicken because it still had its "feet" on (lol).

The menu at the time was

Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken
Hickory Smoked Barbecue Pork Loin
Buttery Corn on the Cob
Original Creamy Vegetable Soup
Hot Homemade Biscuit
Herb basted potatoe
Flaky Apple Pastry
Unlimited Pepsi, tea or coffee
Vegetarian meals available upon request

The menu may have changed by now - no doubt someone will come along soon and let you know.

By the way, we loved it - I would highly recommend it to anyone.

p.s. dont forget you have to eat with your fingers unless you take your own cutlery

We went last year and my DS face when they put a WHOLE Chicken on his plate, was worth going just for that, we enjoyed and would go again

We went last November and my DS(9) was given chicken nuggets he was so upset :cry: as we had told him he would get the whole chicken like us.:confused2

Where did you buy your tickets from.......how would you know what meal your children would be getting. I have an 8 and an 11 year old and don't know how impressed they would be with chilcken nuggets.

The food is very dry at Dixie Stampede but it's ok. The soup is very sickly too so chicken nuggets are probably better for kids. I am surprised they haven't changed some of the food. The vegetarian option is lasagna in Orlando but at all other locations they just give you a bowl of fruit instead of the chicken and pork!
