adding people to ADR?

thought it would be nice for my gate crashing mother and auntie to join us at our sci-fi theatre meal. We made an ADR for 2 people at about 4pm, does anyone know if they will allow us to change it to 4 people seeing as its quite a quiet time? also, should we just ask on the day or actually phone up because im not sure i could face that again???!!!!:confused2

i would phone them just to make sure as it could get embarrasing if you turn up and they say no that there full :grin:

I would definitely ring to make sure. What problem did you have? I've never had a problem whenever I've rung.

not really a problem, i have a bit of a phone phobia and i get all muddled up and forget what i want say. I just have to pluck up the courage, or maybe get my mum to do it!!!!

I would ring as they work on Head count. The even counted my baby even though she will be on my lap. They had to book for 5 of us instead of just the 4 who will be sitting at the table.
I would so embarressed if i turned up and then was turned away at the door. If they are full, then they are full apparently they wont fit in extras something to do with insurance.

I know just what you mean I had to phone to book our ADRs a couple of days ago and was very nervous, as it was it was fine and the lady was really nice

i don't know why they don't have an on line booking service it would be much better me thinks!!
