we are visiting usa in november (aghhhhhhhhhhh) and obviously i want the tickets before we go im not sure which tickets we want and where to get them from, i have looked at the flex ticket???? but not sure if this is what i need or where to get it for the best price obviously the more i save on stuff like that the more i will have to spend when i am there
we have smaller children but also 1 big one not including us and also will have a pushchair which after i have looked are not allowed in some areas, basically i need all the help i can get this is our once in a lifetime holiday so we want it to go as smooth as possible and without sounding tight we are on a budget:blush:
thanx
We are travelling in June with 2 families and children are 2,4,5,7,7 we have looked at lots of websites but found that a 6 day and also the flex ticket, however we realise that the flex tickets for Universal & Islands of Adventure are more for the older children and the adults. Don't buy too much we looked at 3 day tix but in the end it only cost another $5 per person to take the six day and at least if the children get tired we havent lost out on a daily price as we can go in for a little while another day.
Hope that helps you although i cant remember where we bought the tickets from but i will check and let you know.

The parks themselves i.e disney and universal often have good offers on and a seaworld/bush gardens combo is relatively cheap if you are planning to go to Tampa
good ticket sites other than these are www.mapleleaftickets.com attraction tickets direct and keith Prowse
I would say go for a 5 day disney park hopper (with 2 extra days free at the moment therefore 7 days) a 2 day 2 park universal (which are usually upgraded to valid for 7 days, not sure if this offer is on this year you would have to check) and a seaworld day 9when you are at seaworld you go to guest relations and have your picture taken and you will be given an extra free day to come back within 7 days.
That will probably be enough for your first trip, they are long days in the parks and so much to see and do, it seems like a lot of money upfront but you won't spend as much when you are there if all your entertainment is prepaid for, the parks open at 9 and stay open for fireworks until 9,10,11 pm depending on the season

Hi Saladams4
Welcome to the DIBB!
We are going for the first time in October and have also trawled the websites for tickets. I think you need 5 day Disney premium ticket as this will allow you to park hop and you will also get 4 x access to the water parks and other areas like downtown disney included with the ticket. With attraction-tickts-direct.co.uk the 5 day ticket is actually upgraded to a 7 day ticket for free. They also have other special offers so its worth having a look on their website.
We have just got "normal" one week universal tickets. The Flex ticket allows unlimited admission to Universal's Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild, and SeaWorld and is therefore more expensive.
We looked for 3 day Disney and Universal tickets but, to be honest, there was really not much difference in the price and as Ali M said, its nice to know you have a few back-up days.
Hope this sort of helps! I know how mind boggling it can get with all these different tickets to choose from. ;)

however we realise that the flex tickets for Universal & Islands of Adventure are more for the older children and the adults. .
Dont disregard IOA and US and more suitable for older kids! There is LOADS at both parks for younger ones - my kids actually prefer them to Disney - using 'prefer' very lightly mind you!
Shrek
Seuss Landing (purely kids area)
Barney
ET
Woody Woodpecker
Curious George
Animal show
Jimmy Neutron
that's just off the top of my head! I am sure there will be more to add!

;)
You dont need a ticket to 'entry' Downtown Disney. It is also free parking. It is a shopping/eating area. Well worth a visit or two!

look at the 14 day premium disney pass then you can hop in and out of all parks and water parks everyday (just disney of course) for not much extra

i would say look online but to be honest i can recommend disney.com as it only took a week to come through for my daughters tkt and ours were booked through travel company and we are still waiting so i wish we had got them all together now,
to be honest there was only a matter of a few pounds differance in price between disney and other online companies.
if you are on a buget maybe only buy a 7 day tkt and spread it out over your holiday
seaworld is not badly priced and we are considering going there for a day or two on our holiday.
just keep looking for discounts for shows aswell because with you going in november you are working against the weather as everything is soooo outdoors in florida isnt it ?
whatever you do i hope you have fab holiday though;)
