What do most of you guys do the day you are going to MNSSHP?
I am staying in a villa, and planning to go just into the 2nd week of our holiday (2week holiday).
What park should we go to during the day (or should we do something different altogether?)
We are going to dress up so will need to go back to our villa at some point, is it just as well to eat there before going out to MNSSHP or do you get a better atmosphere eating at MK?
Also what time do most of you go?
Should mention that "we" are 2 adults, DD12 and DS8
Sorry so many questions, getting excited!!! :spin: :spin: :spin:
My two are 12 and 16 but we are still going to have a 'rest' day, maybe swim in the pool after having a long lie-in that morning, just so we have enough energy for the party and I'm sure we will enjoy it all the more ifwe don't do a park that morning. We are also going to eat at the hotel, but I have heard that Liberty Tree Tavern is very good for Halloween if you wanted to eat in the park that evening.
We are going with our DS (17) and DD (10). We have and ADR at Ohanas for 9.30am and then relax for the rest of the morning. DD has an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to have her hair, make up and nails done and dressed as Belle. We'll then get changed ourselves and get to Liberty Tree Tavern for our ADR at 5.30pm prior to the party.
I cant wait:spin: :spin: :spin:
Don't forget you will probably be able to get into MK from around 4.30pm and the park will be open late. Personally I wouldn't waste a days admission to a WDW park when you're going to be going to one anyway if you see what I mean -lol

Last year we had a late breakfast at chef mickeys, then we rested by the pool until going to Mk at 4pm. We just had counter service at peco bills for dinner, which we found a great idea as when the park emptied of non party-goers, most people were having dinner at one of the restaurants and we had the park and the rides pretty much to ourselves.

We were really tired for it last year. We wished we had done it earlier in the holiday (it was our last night) and that we had had a quieter day before.
It was a very warm evening and we left way before the end.

We are moving on-site for a night so we plan to go to one of the water parks in the morning, then go to ASM early afternoon to check in, shower, change etc. then head up to MK for around 4.30 ish (we have an ADR at the Plaza at 4.50). I'm really hoping that we can get in on our MNSSHP tickets only at that time.

last year halloween fell just over half way through our holiday. There were 7 of us staying in a villa on hwy 27.
we entered magic kingdom after we watched the opening ceremony ,we done all our favourite rides, then had a fantastic lunch at the crystal palace. After lunch we left the park and returned to the villa to relax for a while and to have a swim with the kids.We returned(in costume)to the park about 5ish and had the best time in magic kingdom we've ever had. Most of the rides were walk on.The parade was excellent, and we all came home with a carrier bag full of candy from the trick or treat stations.

Last year, we wemt on a Monday evening, and judging by the feedback from others the night we were there was not too busy.
We had a nice morning relaxing at the villa, splashing about in the pool, then went and did some shopping, and then had something to eat at TGI Friday's before heading to MK. We were hoping to be there about 4 PM, as this is the time they let you in, but got there just after 5.
We did a few rides before they closed from 6 to 7 pm to encourage all the day visitors to leave the park, then had a walk around. It was a great night, walked on to all the rides, the trick and treating was good, watched the parade and the fireworks.
We never dressed up, and were not out of place. We also forgot to get the free photo, should have done this.

We have all sorts of ages in our party so we are trying to have a lay in in the morning, go over to Chef Mickeys for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day by the pool, before our ADR at LTT at 4:30pm. I'm trying to have a little bit of fun but not overdo it as I think my kids will get tired sooner rather than later.
Hi, we are going to do The Richard Petty experience in the morning and then hire some bikes and ride around OKW. We have an ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern for 5.30. We will change in to our costumes just before the meal and hopefully meet up with Dizzy (sarah and family) at LTT.
we plan to have a lay in and a nice long breakfast by the pool, have a swim or two in the pool and a spot of sunbathing then get ready to go!!!! this way have lots of energy for the party ..... cant wait!!!!!

I plan an early start for EMH at Epcot (I may be alone on this) then a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's and into MK for a while. We'll then have a break for chocolate fondue at the Grand Floridian Cafe then it will be time to change into our costumes and head back to MK for our dinner at the Plaza (ADR for 4-40pm) before the party begins.
:mickeybou It's also my birthday! :tiggerbou

Thanks for all you reply's and great advice as always. :thumbs-up
Think we will have a 'quieter' day as recommended and an early dinner in the park.....the choccy fountain sounds yummy, maybe have to fit that in somewhere too!!!
Still at planning stages with costume, I don't want something that will be too warm, how cool does it get in the later evenings?

Depends, last Oct we were there from the 7th till the 21st and were still very comfortable in shorts and tee shirts until we went home at night.
