Some friends have just returned from Florida and given me a set of the park maps. On the Universal ones they are advertising their 'Meal Deal' which is $19.99 (+ Tax??), per person per day. This entitles you to eat as much as you like from selected restaurants in each park all day. You can add unlimited beverages for another $7.

Has anyone used this scheme, and if so was it value for money?

I have no idea how much meals cost in these parks to start with.

Here's the details http://www.universalorlando.com/tic_meal_deal.html

Personally I didn't think it was good value for money, unless you eat like a horse, which doesn't really do you much good if you then going on the Hulk or Duelling Dragons :)

We saw this last year but never took it up. I would imagine that unless you intend staying in the park all day and eat at least two meals there it wouldn't really be value for money
