This will be our 6th holiday to WDW (apart from the 2 first timers)

Holidays over the years have become even more relaxed than the previous one. Now we stay close to the parks so we can just pop back for a bit of R&R

This year’s itinerary has been a nightmare to plan for several reasons.

1….We are only going for 2 weeks
2….We have to do all the parks because we have 2 first timers with us
3 …I have 15 ADR’s
4 …Trying to organise 8 people
5….Build in rest times during the afternoons
6 …Take advantage of evening EMH’s

On the plus side
1…We are going at a quiet time (no queues)
2…Our Hotel is only a short walk from Epcot and MGM



Thursday 24th August
Drive to Gatwick, do Twilight Check In and then Check In at the Ramada Plaza. Relax and then get dressed and go out to dinner at Jefferson’s (a tradition)

Friday 25th August
Flight at 11:15. Spend the next 9 hours bored stupid. Land at 3:25.
Drive to the Swan. Take a walk over to the ESPN for dinner

Saturday 26th August
Breakfast at Spoodles (thanks to Bob and Dawn’s review)
Walk to EPCOT .Spend morning in Future World. Go back to hotel around noon
and relax by pool. ADR at Le Cellier at 6pm. Stay for Fireworks and then take boat back to the Swan.

Sunday 27th August
Breakfast get something light like a Danish…. Magic Kingdom in the morning… ADR at Crystal Palace for lunch. Return to Hotel for afternoon and then back to MK around 6pm dinner at Pecos Bill’s (EMH…open till 1am)

Monday 28th August
Breakfast at Spoodles. MGM morning return to hotel for afternoon. Drive to Downtown Disney around 5pm, have a look round shops. Dinner at House of Blues.


Tuesday 29th August
Animal Kingdom. Breakfast at Rainforest Café. ADR at Boma’s for Dinner

Wednesday 30th August
Breakfast at Hotel. Seaworld till late afternoon Go back to hotel for a couple of hours to relax, Dinner at Big River….spend the night in Jellyrolls. Those not old enough (19…20) are going to Disney Quest.

Thursday 31st August
Breakfast…don’t know (depends on hangover) Water park all day. EPCOT evening ADR at the Coral Reef

Friday 1st September
Breakfast Spoodles…Drive to Universal Studios.. dinner at Bahama Breeze…Relax back at hotel for a couple of hours then go over to EPCOT for EMH


Saturday 2nd September
Light breakfast at hotel Then drive to Islands of Adventure. Back to hotel around 4pm…relax then drive to Downtown Disney….late dinner at Rainforest Café about 9pm then onto Pleasure Island for the night.

Sunday 3rd September
Light breakfast at hotel….Water Park all day…ADR for Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner… Magic Kingdom for EMH

Monday 4th September
ADR for breakfast with Stitch at Ohana’s ….Magic Kingdom am Hotel afternoon ADR at Whispering Canyon for dinner. …

Tuesday 5th September
Breakfast hotel….MGM… ADR Brown Derby for dinner

Wednesday 6th September
Breakfast Hotel …..Shopping… Dinner at TEPPANYAKI…. go to Jellyrolls again

Thursday 7th September
Breakfast at Spoodles….EPCOT am… rest in the afternoon back at hotel. Back to EPCOT evening ADR for Le Cellier …stay for Fireworks

Friday 8th September
Downtown Disney Check in…Drive to Seaworld. Have lunch on the waterfront drive to Airport around 3pm….7:40 pm flight back to Gatwick.

My Itinerary is geared around a 3 and 5 year old so its nice to take a look at the grown up one.
