Even though I have most of the trip planned both our children have autism so this can make even the best plans fly out the window as you often have to just go with the flow. Most of our dinner choices are buffets as we need to be able to walk into a restaurant and get their food almost immediately (they don't cope with waiting very well - although this is getting better as they get older) So we tend to spend a lot of time at Golden Corral or Sweet Tomatoes off site and I usually cook stuff when we are at OKW. This year though we have taken advantage of the dining plan as it is the last year DS will be classed as a child.

I am a bit worried about this because it is going to be hard to make sure we are all at a certain place at a certain time and that the kids don't want to get up and leave the second they have finished eating but we will give it out best shot........ so here goes

Looks good. Ditto about the kids & dining, most of my ADRS are buffets for the same reason as you, have tried to book sit down service at places where hopefully there will be enought to keep DS amused while we eat , remember , most adrs can be cancelled, if you aren't going to get there in time, or think it's going to be too stressful, just relax & skip it , try to plan ahead so you can be in the right part of the park 30 mins or so before your adr, then you can take your time ( easier said than done - I know :( )

Looks good to me :thumbs-up I know what you mean about the buffet thing and Joshy is getting a little better now too. We take him to Brewster restaurants quite a bit that aren't buffets. I don't think we will have much opportunity to eat at GC much this year.

We will be at MGM probably 8th August morning too. I had planned this to coincide with the rumoured Toy Story meal. As this hasn't materialised we may change our plans.

Looking forward to meeting you at DQ:d:

I am going to bring their Nintendo DS's and only produce them when they have finished eating and if they want to leave immeidatly

I know we have the option to cancel (and we had to do that last year with 2 ADR's) but this year we are on the dining plan so it would be nice if we could use up all our credits and as free dining is on at the same time, I know if we cancel we will be hard pushed to get in some where else

............Looking forward to meeting you at DQ.....

Ditto :thumbs-up

Your plans look good, but as you say you will need to play it by ear a bit depending on the kids. I hope you get to enjoy all your dining choices, you have some good ones there. I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting those Dibbers too! :)

It looks good, hope u enjoy the dining plan, remember to use up the snack credits we bought 20 rice krispie treats at end of plan with the remaining credits we had, also remember if u are pushed u can use TS credits for CS if u need to change dining at short notice:smile:

Now that they have increased the things you can get for snacks we will have no problem using them :D

Thanks for the tip about using a TS for a CS - at least if we can't make a TS meal we can still get something to eat at a CS restaurant, rather than letting the credit go to waste
